BentaLog Privacy Policy

BentaLog ("the App") is a daily sales closing and expense logging tool for restaurant businesses, operated by Jayha Labs ("we"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: email address, name, and password (stored as a secure hash) when you create an account or accept a staff invitation.
• Business records you enter: branch names, daily sales, cash/online/card amounts, expenses, inventory counts, customer counts (pax), and memos.
• Photos of closing reports you choose to scan. A compressed copy is stored with the saved record for your own audit purposes.
• Optional integrations: a Telegram chat ID if you enable the daily summary digest.

We do not collect your device contacts, location, or advertising identifiers, and we do not show ads.

2. How we use your data

• To provide the App's core features: recording, reviewing, and reporting your business's daily closings.
• AI scanning: when you scan a report photo, the image is sent to Google's Gemini API to extract the written numbers. The image is used only for this extraction. Your past corrections may be used to improve extraction accuracy for your own account only — never to train models for others.
• To send account emails (invitations, password resets) and, if enabled, your daily Telegram digest.
• To enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.

3. Where your data is stored

Data is stored on Supabase (hosted database and storage). Access is protected by row-level security: each business account can only access its own data. Staff members can only access data their owner grants.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the App: Supabase (database/auth/storage), Google Gemini API (scan extraction), Resend (transactional email), and Telegram (only if you connect it). Each receives only what is necessary for its function.

5. Data retention & deletion

• Your records are kept while your account is active.
• You can delete all business records anytime in the App: Settings → Danger Zone → Reset all records.
• To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us at the address below; we will complete deletion within 30 days.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Philippine users have rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173); Korean users under PIPA. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Children

The App is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the App. The latest version is always available at this page.
